At IPO all good and a plan to make things happen. Company issues progress reports touting the great outcomes expected soon.
Market and investor sentiment pushes the SP to ridiculous highs and everyone is euphoric and expects the share to go higher. Over ensuing months SP drifts lower and lower as deadlines/ funding etc never materialise. Eventually cash is used up and CR after CR raise follows until it all ends in tears. (Except for directors)
If Chris can pull this one out of the above scenario he will be the huge spec stock exception. Your money, your choice.
