What you could do is take up the rights at 7c each. The only way you'll lose money is if the AVX share price drops below 7c before the time you get your hands on them to sell. Otherwise, you basically do nothing and lose them. If you want to take them up, you need to do that before 5pm Monday. You should have been sent paperwork and if not, speak to your broker. If still no good, ring the enquiries line 1300755098 and they should be able to go through your options. DYOR of course - I can't know what's best for you.
