Time to get some perspective, dude. If we all know something is a risk, we all need to acknowledge there's a chance of it going badly. That's what risk means.

Yes, they probably showed a bit too much confidence to us, but hey, if we're too stupid to read between the lines with that sort of thing we shouldn't be playing on the stock market. Of course they're going to paint a rosey picture, but it's not unreasonable to expect investors to say "In unproven land, you just never know, and with no wells at all as precedent, we might get all dusters and lose all our money"

Yep, they got it wrong. Yep, we all (including them) lost money. Yep, it sucks. Did the regulators fail? Nope!

I bet I lost a lot more money (or have a greater paper loss at this point) due to PYM than you. I chalk these things up to expensive but valuable learning experiences. My biggest loss before this cost me about $20k and as expensive as that was as as much as I hate the managers in that case, I gained more than $20k worth of experience from it. This one has taught me less and cost multiples of that previous big loss, but I'm still big enough to cop it on the chin without throwing a tantrum like a spoiled child. As any of us should know, it's important to keep your cool and remain rational and objective.

Do I want the directors to face legal action? No, that isn't fair.

Do I want to punch them in the face? Well... no.

Do I want to scowl at them and maybe throw a drink in their face... maybe ;)

If you sell out, they do drill one more well and oil gushes everywhere, the cherry on top will be knowing what you're thinking ;) Don't get me wrong, I think it's more likely that I'll lose what's left of my money!
