I honestly couldn't care less what kind of batteries they recycle, as long as they can build a viable plant, I'm happy.
Back in the day when I bought my first lithium shares I saw one EV a week on the roads, these days, I see 10 EVs a day or more when I'm driving around. The transition in Europe would be more intense than here & all those batteries will have to be recycled at some point.
Perhaps a single 50tpd plant is out of the realm of possibilities for RIL for a long time, but 5 x 10tpd plants recycling household batteries around Europe could be a viable option. It's a foot in the door, a leg up, a slice of the pie, something from which RIL can grow from.
