For a tiny bit more context on this too, what prompted me to enter these positions was almost 0% interest paid on a decent whack of coin in the bank and just going backwards when you factor in inflation. The last few years have changed this somewhat with the interest rate rises we've had but the Gov still puts its hand out for half of what you make anyway (feels like %50 anyway). So going further out on the risk curve to try and get ahead was the only option.
