Wrong silly, do you seriously think China will be prepared to pay significantly more for Brazilian IO than Australian?
They won't and a balance will be found in the market as is always the case with Aussie IO having a massive slice of the cake.
Sure having another significant producer back fully online will create competition (as it was before) and put some downward pressure on the current stag prices.
But Chinas booming steel industry has nothing to do with supply side, its all demand side..they are making massive profits even at current IO prices.
And after the disaster that happened in Brazil I expect the cost of doing Fe mining there (this time properly and safely hopefully) will be significantly higher. Their insurance costs have certainly gone through the roof since the tailings dam collapse.
Iron set to continue to boom and its not just iron ore its all the tech applicable metals too including Tin and all the target metals from our SW JV too.
Surely you know all this unless you live in a cave...
