It is well known that RIM terminated the Avondale and Fifield Earn-In agreements because the Supreme Court of Victoria found that Anton Billis's company Resources Capital Ltd was the controlling shareholder of GPR since 2020 and that RIM believed for the last 4 years that convicted fraudster, Michael Giovinazzo was in control. RIM are alleging that as there was a change in control due to the Court findings they have the right to terminate both Earn-in agreements. GPR say that the terminations are invalid and are opposing both terminations. The Arbitration hearing is set down for March 2025.
