yes it sure is...has been very quiet the last month or so. there are some significant mining operations in the region and so hopefully our geography is favourable to a large scale open pit mining operation once we firm up the resource base etc.
Some interesting facts:
There are approx only 439 discovered deposits in the world that house over 1,000,000 ounces of gold. Of these 439, over 250 are still undeveloped. The average grade of the producing mines is 1.06g/T. Of these, only 3 or 4 are in Australia.
Wouldnt it be nice of RIM where the next? haha
