That said, gjames' post here is one of the most idiotic I've seen on hotcopper for a long time:
"The fact is if the market had shorts in place then you would have gotten a decent short cover rally today following the Dows performance last night. But by having no shorts you decimate the buying pressure."
Yeah. Right. Allowing people to SELL (i.e. short) will cause the prices to go UP!!
