One of Berejiklian’s many problems is she’s the gold standard premier for Scotty, his comatose govt and their media cheer squad in News Corpse, Nine and Seven.
this has constrained her ability to make rational decisions on behalf of NSW residents.
in part because Scotty and his mob, and the majority of their media cheer squad prioritize business and the economy over public health. We see it time and time again.
but what this large business-first group of witless twerps still fail to realize is that this crisis isn’t a state of origin footy game.
it’s a pandemic you donkeys. Different rules apply.

Berejiklian is getting torn to pieces.
while clearly being a member of the business-first axis she also now sees the urgency of acting like a state premier and putting public health first.
She will do this, quite possibly after the horse has bolted and covid case numbers have exploded.
i hope not. No matter where you are on the rising curve of case numbers in a pandemic the following remains true: go hard, go early.
she knows the decision she has to take and yes it will likely cost her the premier’s job. The blood lust of the business-first axis will surely see to that in due course.
i hope she bites the bullet and goes hard lockdown sooner than later.
It’s the only decision a responsible state premier can make.
