Nothing other than luck.
For that is not the way I set out to invest.
Rather, I buy shares in companies whose intrinsic values rise over time, which ultimately gets reflected in the share price.
That's what I thought would be the case with ISD when I bought it.
So, I was - in fact - wrong.
Horribly wrong!
Meaning that I made a profit despite making a fundamental mistake.
And that is the quintessential definition of luck, as opposed to me possessing some or other unique insight into when to buy exactly at the bottom and when to sell exactly at the top.
