I think Cemex is playing a waiting game. The longer they wait the worse things will appear to get and the more likely shareholders will accept a low ball offer. Certainly some shareholders dropping out thinking their last low ball offer will get the nod. But forget it.
No one in their right mind will accept it.
The reality is the fundamentals will all be there ready for next up turn in the construction cycle.
They are in the game so they will know exactly when things will start looking to head up. Rest assured the next low ball offer will come in then.
Might be in the $18 ball park.
Hopefully Hansom or another cement company will pitch an offer soon and those Mexican hat dancers will be forced to pay.
