RIO without a bid are about 40% over valued, the Alcan purchase will be their achilles heal. Provern by their need to sell of coal assets to fund the purchase.
Looking at the price history of Aluminium on kitcometals, warehouse stocks on the LME are growing at a fast rate that will surpass the five year high in 18 months wich will push the current price per pound down to around 70c, and with the world economy slowing as fast as it is this may happen earlier.
