"Rio Tinto PLC ( RTP | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP.AU) have finalized the senior management of their planned iron ore joint venture, despite ongoing uncertainty over regulatory approvals, a person familiar with the situation said Friday.
The seven executives - with an eighth appointment still pending - are expected to progressively take up their roles in the next several months assuming that Rio and BHP gain timely approvals from European regulators for the deal. "
Seems to be pretty confident all is going to go ahead as planned- so that is good.
