Since about 2003 he has been doing a whole lot for the welfare of aboriginals. More than any government. He has instituted all sorts of employment programs, well funded, not just undignified hand-outs. Not sure if you count that. Actually you probably don't, but its true anyway.
Not sure if you count his donation and physical delivery of dongas to the Victorian bushfire victims as the interests of the country. While the labor government dithered.
Oh, and what about the tens of thousands directly and indirectly employed as a result of his vision?
I'm really not sure why you attack him so much.
But even if you hate him, what would you substitue for him if he had never existed? Who would be better off? That is the real mystery and I'm not hanging around for an answer to that. I'll bet you don't have one.
