For those who've seen today's FIN Review (hard copy) the cover page has a story suggesting RIO and BHP may need to wind back or throttle expansion plans pending the outcome of the European situation.
If this is the case, all I can see is lot's of $$$ in the bank not being spent on capex which becomes available for strategic aquisitions. . . . .
