If they were to, now would be the time.
SP is low, lithium noise of downfall is high, the percentage of retail holders has fallen due to great shakeouts, etc.
The second half of the year is when prices of lithium/spod will rise due to the normal cycle. So it is either do it now, or it will never be.
I don't want them to do it; I see the longer-term picture.
But, institutions have their hands all over this stock, so if an offer were made at around $18, institutions would be like sweet a 50% gain for my portfolio. They would not even care if they could have gotten 150% more if they waited a couple more years.
Tic Toc, will they are won't they, who knows?
The article was probably encouraged by someone looking for a sweet price jump to sell out and then short again.
