Means they will more then likely be preying on smaller projects in the forseeable future. what better way to hit BHP and RIO where it hurts then to take out UMC and get them into some prime Pilbara land. Game on imo.
Chinalco now has US$19bill to splash around. Heck the break fee ($195mill) alone from RIO is nearly enough to buy UMC...
