I wonder if this is some kind of manipulation game from BHP? BHP must have known how this would affect RIO.... perhaps this is part of their (BHP's) plan to reduce RIO's s/p for further negotiations. Just a thought.
So greateful I didn't choose to go long on RIO today. that would have been nasty......
