Why on earth would ‘we’ want to transition from fossil fuels? Cheaper than nuclear, and it gives us reliable 24/7 baseload power.
Remember, Australia contributes less than 2% of global emissions, of which only a part comes from a dozen or so coal fired plants. In other world, we make no difference to temperatures.
And we should pull out of the Paris Agreement as well. We need to run our own race, and not kowtow to global lefty elitists (although that landscape is changing in any case).
