I'd just like to point out that when i was discussing prices on the post you are referring to (http://www.hotcopper.com.au/post_single.asp?fid=1&tid=838724&msgid=4655377) I believe we were talking about what would happen if KAH accepted an offer from RIO, and my point was that if that was to happen then KAH could screw us around because RIO would probably then get close to the 90% for compulsory acquisition.
So it wasn't necessarily my views on some long term future value. If I recall that was around the time when there was a lot of concern that RIO would bully there way in and get EXT for cheap, and then you had the KAH/EXT merger idea and RIO trying to exert undue influence on that. Times have changed, EXT is stronger and more independent now.
