No one on HC can definitively answer your question about Rio's current activities.   Most field work is suspended in the Paterson during the cyclone and hot summer month's (Greatland's plans to drill with 2 rigs next month).  Having said that Rio have a well established camp which will have power generation for air cons etc etc and so work could continue, as it has for nearly 40 years around Telfer, Nifty and....Marble Bar.

MZN's announcement is pretty standard for exploration companies working on "nearology" and doing compilation of previous work.  They pick out highlights and look at them with different perspectives.  

Such an approach worked well for Greatland so good luck to MZN.

This regional map shows that Wanderer is in a slightly different geological environment to Telfer (perhaps Hav/Winu as well) but probably similar to Nifty.  I would wonder about the metamorphic grade near the Rudall complex which may impact on mineralisation (+ or - possible).



I hadn't noticed MZN's tenement holdings east of Calibre before.  Probably quite deep cover but that's pretty much what AZY left for others who are willing to take the challenge.
