Rio hasn't reduced its shareholding in KAH, it has been diluted by the capital raising KAH had to fund the purchase of EXT's shares in EXT's capital raising.
You will notice from the Ann on the LSE that the number of shares before and after the 'triggering transaction' remains the same at 28,267,310 shares.
