You might be correct on this but don't forget the worries with RIO was its debt and once its eliminated i don't see such a fall in 1 day..
Also i think the support point is around $62.42.

Unless there is something big happens overnight I don't see such a fall in 1 day :)
Personally I think RIO is a long term investment with good dividend and right offer the everyone's average price would be in comfortable range.
