if ever there was a time for a credible 3rd party it is now. Someone who is willing to make some hard decisions with the countries long term best interests at heart, rather than short term vote grabbing garbage. I think the Australian public are smarter than the politicians recognise, only problem is all the alternatives are tarred with the same brush.
The current govt is a joke. Rudd seems to have taken to imitating Obama - if he does healthcare we do healthcare, if he delays ETS we delay, if he brings it back we talk about bringing it back. Funny how Obama has now cancelled his trip to Australia.
If the liberal party get their act together and put a reasonable leader in place they will win the next election. lets hope they do
