There has been a lot of negative discussion about altitude in relation to the proposed Lake Resources brine project/s. Not many have considered the positives. The use of a solar panel array to provide power to the installation will benefit from the high average days of full sun, the clear atmosphere and the increased efficiency of the panels as they will not get too hot. This, together with the overall efficiency of modern panels, equates to the lower cost of the array and the energy storage/backup system.
