In Hu's case, he is a victim of Rio Tinto. Rio Tinto has established very complcated information gathering network in China, using both legal and illegle means to obtain commercial information. You will see Rio will have tough time ahead. Rio needs to sell its products to make money. If chinese government imposes some import restriction on chinese companies, then Rio will be in trouble. Rio was in deed very short-sighted.
