Chinese government has suspected for a long time that somebody inside leaked vital information to Rio. The secret investigation has been carried out for sometime.
Again it's about iron ore sale price and it has nothing to do with Chinalco. For many years, Chinese importors were unable to negociate with Rio because Rio knew everything well before negociation started. As a result, China lost a lot of money.
Of course Mr Hu knew what he was doing. He was very cautious. He hardly used his mobile phone in order to prevent interception by Chinese government.
