Your way, way off on that one Dunnycan. They screw us as hard as they can always have. If a contract goes against them they don't honour it. They have a seperate stock exchange where only Chinese can buy. They spy on u like nothing else. They couldn't care less about copyright, etc, etc.
The Chinalco deal was not just a stake in Rio. It was a complicated deal including direct stakes in mines, etc aimed at completely undermining our negotiating power and giving them full inside info about all costs, etc forever. Would have been catastrophic for Australia. Anyway, stupid Albanese allowed a break fee so RIO has to pay them 250mill for nothing and they're still complaining. Don't you wonder why?
