There is no doubt that a typical play by investment houses is to drive the price lower so they can have 57% at 20 cents then slowly they realiize the value and profiteer to the tunes of hundreds of millions over time .

There is a 4th way for a major owner to divest assets . That is what Toll did with their majority stake in virgin blue . After all attempts to sell Virgin Blue failed .
TOL gave virgin blue away as a in specie dividend to to existing TOL shareholders . e.g. if u had had 10 tol shares you received 6 VB shares as a dividant . This happened at the height of GFC.

You never know RIO may give IVA away as a in specie dividant . It would be wrongful by RIO for its own shareholders to give it away for $80 million . But this game is always about manipulation and anything can happen .
