G'day Westcott,
You and I were having a brief discussion (via posts) the other day about RIO tenements and their proximity to SDL West African projects.
I have gathered from reading your posts over the past couple of years that you are more of a research and factually based man so what I am about to ask is not 100% appropriate.
Anyway what's your take on the likely hood of a JV (RIO/SDL)?
I posted the other day and I still stick with my thoughts that RIO would take more of a gobble up the opposition approach than a JV. The only thing that makes me think there may be a chance of a JV would be in the infrastructure since SDL have completed the rail survey/design phase it would save RIO a lot of effort duplicating, let alone the environmental hurdles if they decided to try and build something of their own.
I only ask because of your above post.
Have a great day.
Ben
