The positions of the Rio Tinto tenements are such that they would only be looking at getting on SDL's rail line system. Rio are too far North in Gabon to be looking to build their own rail line. They are less than 100kls from the nearest point that SDL's rail line passes. Rio Tinto did reconnaissance work in Gabon around 2008.I have a small report from a Rio Tinto Geoscientist who graduated in June 2006 from Edinburgh University.
If Rio Tinto tenements have large amounts of high grade iron ore and large amounts of Itabirite there could be a chance of a J/V. Rio Tinto in Africa goes under the name of Iron Ore of Canada or some thing like that. That is the name of their subsiduary that looks after these tenements.
