rio to go unconditional?

The way the bid is evolving and in my opinion, RIO may declare the bid unconditional in due course.

It wants to hang on to this asset and is already the largest shareholder. By going unconditional, it may even get to 50% as the remaining shareholders exit for fear of being in an illiquid market.

There is only 17% of shares out there now not with RIO, Tata or CSN and amy soon get to 10% or less when the hedge funds unwind their equity swap arrangements.

My hope is RIO go unconditional at $16.50.
