I was really hoping for some more analysis results rather than a "watch this space" type ann.

sounds like avb have been having real problems with the turn around period from the current lab. the last results ann (about 5 weeks ago) indicated they were awaiting samples from other drill holes (x9 holes from memory?). You would have thought the lab would have done the analyses for those holes (at least) by now? If not, I'd be looking for a new lab too!

While the delay for results is frustrating for shareholders (and presumably for avb management) we should be careful not to blame avb for the delays as the lab turn around is, to a large extent, out of their hands. Presumably avanco are seen by the local labs as a foreign junior and would be second class customers compared to the likes of vale. I'm sure the labs don't work on a "first-in first-out" basis for sample queues.

hopefully the results for will be worth the wait!
