No more distractions in the meantime so they can now decide if it is JV they are looking for or complete equity stake. As some one pointed out, Jv is not such a straight forward bolt on to Rossing. The existing infrastructure/equipment is 30 years old and probably require major maintanence/replacements. The JV route will require major expansion to the milling and all the downline process as we are talking 15M lb yellow cake that comes out as product. The principles/strategy/philosophy is sound and makes sense for a JV but how practical is it? I am but a novice armchair investor and my gut is telling me it is probably more economical to go the standalone route to production independent of Rossing infrastructure.
