re: may get iron ore price rise of 11.5% - abare Dec 22 ... final day of steel negotiations for 2006 .. on that day, if they announce an increase in ore price contracts with chinese and japanese then it will be that day the stock finds new support levels at $22. Today ... it's not going to have a crack at $22. Too much uncertainty ... chinese copper scandal, chevron venture write off due to Katrina, and not known certainty about the iron ore negotiations coupled with volatility in metals prices + uncertainty on economic growth = no share price going up for BHP right now.
