iron ore negotiations have started for 2006 prices as well. There's concern that the chinese are demanding prices 10% less than last year. BHP are demanding increases on last year's prices. It's sending mixed messages to the stockmarket. Then you have the copper trading scandal which brings uncertainty to the copper price, and on top of that a 2-4% profit downgrade due to the american write off.
