    Riot breaks out on Christmas island Allison Rehn From: The Daily Telegraph December 17, 2010 5:30PM

    A RIOT has broken out on Christmas Island.
    According to reports, some of the survivors from Wednesday?s boat tragedy are protesting ? and two of them have reportedly escaped from their low-security surrounds.
    Police are on alert as the riot escalates.
