Yep...me too.
Was one of the shows that even as teenages we enjoyed with the whole family. I think it was Dave Allen that actually introduced me to comedy.
I remember the latter series tended to have a lot more skits which were never as funny as just him on a stool, glass of whisky and telling a story.
wonder what knocked him over in the end?
