    The writting was on the wall. Holden stopped making cars for Australians a long time ago, as gm forced holden to manufacture large cars for the international market, and unfortunately sales were insufficient to maintain a sustainable business.

    Govt should have bought Holden when the opportunity was presented to them. They pump enough money into it over the decades.

    undoubtedly a regret in years to come and a sign of the times....end of manufacturing in australia.

    and it's sad that some australians did not appreciate the quality cars that holden made over the decades.
