In November/ December of 2004 I made several forecasts for the year 2005 and reiterate my position as stated then.
The Pope will be the first major life casualty this year followed by Lee Kuan Yew former PM of Singapore. Their deaths will have a creeping effect on world markets because of their infulence in the free world as we have come to know it.
John Howard will step down this as also stated in my forecasts in favour of one Malcolm Turnbull who will never become PM during his lifetime.
I further and finally reiterate the position that a major bank is virtually 'dead' on the inside from so much corruption and dead loans to companies and it will not become an issue till the fact of interest rates rising by at least a total of 2% this year is realised.
The US will have significant problems with government and internally it will be in chaos because of their losses in Iraq and their inabiity to control the war in Iraq.
