I am unfamiliar with AUZ, though the share price graph and market cap are worth a thousand words. After your post I have been reading some of the more recent threads and it's true, a lot of the posts are not pretty.
But I still think your complaint is based on a fundamental misunderstanding of how a stock discussion forum should work. We're all here to learn more about the stocks that interest us, spot the winners and weed out the duds. If you only want to hear from people who agree with you, you're never going to learn anything. The posters you label as "vitriolic lunatics with an axe to grind who don't hold" are the very people you should be listening to. If their posts sometimes seem vitriolic, look at the posts they are responding to - it's a sadly familiar theme on HotCopper that non-holders who make posts critical of the stock get labelled as trolls, while idiot fanboys hurl abuse at them and high-five each other.
As an aside - AUZ is regularly among the most-discussed stocks on HC. Yet it has made no announcement for 6 weeks and not a lot of substance before that. What on earth are you all talking about??
