Oh dear, how things have changed.

When I was young I went to dances, like at Cloudland in Brisbane, where we went to meet the opposite sex, yes, opposite sex. NO alcohol served, just cordial.

If you haven't scored by midnight, then would go home and try next time.

It was an inexpensive night and they were the best years in the seventies.

You knew how the Lady felt as soon as you had her in your arms. Can't disguise body language.

Now young guys would spend heaps of dollars on women and would not know how the real felt about them, apart from a source of free drinks.

These days to go out and get drunk to the extent they do is amazing.

8.00pm till 1.00 am is enough time to have fun, socialise and pick up a partner.

Tourist have to get up early to go on their scheduled trips.

Night clubs should be held accountable for who they sell alcohol to.

There is a difference between having a social drink and getting aggressively drunk.

99.9% do not go to night clubs, and do expect to walk the streets safely, and expect their children to be safe.

If people can't behave in pubs and night Clubs then be prepared to feel the consequences.

    cheers,

    syp
