Safaris, I actually stated that concern in my previous post. I fail to see where piling every drunk person on the street at the same time is going to prevent fights. I have seen so many fights in cab lines and having EVERYONE on the street competing for cabs is going to cause friction.

I believe a staggered closing time in a nightclub precinct is a better solution. It gives cabbies a chance to make it back in time to collect drinkers.

It doesn't make sense having every drunk person on the street at the same time.
