I have just been watching the Maradona special on Sky and I'd have to agree with Mark Bosnic. The comparison with other great players puts him on a pedestal of his own when you realise that he took a team of nobodies, which Napoli was (apart from Careca), and took it to two Scudetos in what was then the world's premier.league largely through his own brilliance, determination and leadership. Other great players have always shone when surrounded by other top players. And that goes for Messi, Ronaldo, eve In George Best. I wonder can you get Napoli's Scudeto seasons on dvd. BTW I remember a dressing room interview from those years where he was asked where he got his speed and strength from. From his thighs he said, slapping one of them, it all comes from there. And watching him today what I moticed immediately was how those chunky thighs stood out on that small body
