Still awaiting the promised reply from PC to some questions I posed - he is obviously very much caught up over there. Don't mind waiting 2 months if that is as long as it takes till he has a free moment - I imagine Biota management are earning their keep at the moment.

I'm sure there are negotiations on Phase III trials funding going on in parallel to licensee negotiations (although the success of the former will determine the sweetness of the latter). Phase III trial funding may also involve Merger & Acquisition discussions, so this puts more pressure on potential licensees to make better offers.

I would therefore imagine that the options are complex although Biota would appear to be in a good position at the moment. I'm hoping we have some experienced players involved in all of these negotiations - perhaps Jim Fox - in order to choose the best path to move forward down.
