I hate to spoil your takeover rumour, however, when a company takes up 5% or more of the shares of a listed ASX company it must inform the market.
So if say GSK or anyone had a go at Biota we would know about well in advance by the share volume and an announcement.
Mind I have a few bta so I would not mind at all.
