I'm bullish like most here - but as you say there are quite a few legacy issues hanging over this companies head, which is causing this lag in sp appreciation opposed to peers. They have a fairly high AISC ($42US lb), and as you say high volume of shares that need to be washed through. Assuming we hit production (end of Dec 2024), we'll be producing first barrel by late 1st Q (March 2024 approx). There will likely need to be another cash injection at some point also. Company needs to be careful not to lock in long term contracts too early, at low U-spot prices...like we have already done (given we have a moderately small resource compared to some in Namibia, Aus, Canada, etc). We do appear to be slowly pushing through these challenges, but yes, really need to execute near perfectly (which typically does not happen....delays/cost overuns, etc). Anyway...time will tell. Management has certainly been out and about getting media attention in recent times (not quite sure why?).
