    On the markets, The Proactive Investors Ripper award was Fortis Mining (ASX: FMJ) with a 45% price spike to $2.90 as it rides the potash boom, but this spike is nothing compared to the last three months, with the company trading at just $0.21 in December.

    Other strong performing stocks included Lindian Resources (ASX: LIN) with a 27% gain, as both Xceed Capital (ASX: XCD) and Water Resources Group (ASX: WRG) headed north by 23%.
