No liquidity can be a benefit. Parking a sell order some levels higher than the market is often filled due to the desperation of some buyers to pay whatever is going. If you get a lack of selling volume but an excess of buying volume the price will hit much higher strikes than what you would expect at btc markets. It normalizes once people catch up to the move and place their orders - but a good opportunity if you can catch it.
